This is a tough one…but I will go with The Blade (1995)

Confirming that I have R1/A player

  2.

I’m going with THE BLADE as well. There are indeed a lot of other worthy choices, but THE BLADE feels like it was made for me whenever I watch it.

  3.

My favorite Tsui Hark film is Once Upon A Time In China.

International entry but I can read region 1 DVDs and Blu-rays.

    Thanks!

Tough question, but I’d have to go with my favorite, Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain.

Ooo, I absolutely adore the first Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame! I’ve probably watched it 80 times now (the blu-ray practically lives in the player, ha). Flying Swords of Dragon Gate had some incredible 3D work in it, though. Rise of the Sea Dragon could become a new favourite once I see it, definitely excited for the release!

    The Blade and The Lovers.
And yes, I can read the Blu-ray.

Peking Opera Blues is my favorite. Once Upon a Time in China and The Blade are close behind.

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame for sure. I have to give a nod to Seven Swords just for the Jason Pai Piao reference alone, though.
