Directed by Jo Bum-gu, whose credits include the 2011 hit Quick, the film stars Jung Woo-sung from Cold Eyes as a hard-boiled Go player who is framed for and convicted of his brother’s murder. Go is an adversarial board game with the objective of having surrounded a larger total area of the board with one’s stones than the opponent. As the game progresses, the players place stones which map out formations and potential territories. Areas are contested in battles between opposing stones, which are often complex and may result in the expansion, reduction, or wholesale capture and loss of the contested area. The Korean DVD is already out. The Divine Move Special Edition is out around December 24th, 2014 on Blu-ray (R-A) from KD Media. YesAsia.com.
