About Author

Long time film lover and occasional writer. I watch anything and everything though I have massive love for the works of Shunji Iwai, Jackie Chan, Johnnie To, and Kinji Fukasaku. POP! POP!

  1. It’s hard to pick a favorite because Jet Li has so many great films but if I had to pick one it’d be “Kiss of the Dragon”. The fight between Jet Li and the room full of martial art trained French police officers was pretty awesome. The fight with the 2 brothers that followed was also great. And the way he took out the head bad cop with the acupuncture needle was insane. A close runner up would be “Fist of Legend”. Great film with tons of excellent fight scenes. An excellent homage to Bruce Lee’s “Fist of Fury” (aka Chinese Connection).

  2. Man.. This is a tough one! I’d have to go for Hero also, it was the first film I thought of given the question closely followed by Fist of Legend. I was going to joke and say “The One” but in that film too much of Jet Li is a bad thing! Lol!

  3. This might not be anywhere near close to some other peoples thoughts, but I really liked “The One” just for a bit of mindless fun and popcorn eating!
