Long time film lover and occasional writer. I watch anything and everything though I have massive love for the works of Shunji Iwai, Jackie Chan, Johnnie To, and Kinji Fukasaku. POP! POP!

  1. Ooo, I absolutely adore the first Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame! I’ve probably watched it 80 times now (the blu-ray practically lives in the player, ha). Flying Swords of Dragon Gate had some incredible 3D work in it, though. Rise of the Sea Dragon could become a new favourite once I see it, definitely excited for the release!

  2. Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame for sure. I have to give a nod to Seven Swords just for the Jason Pai Piao reference alone, though.
