TAS: SPL (2005) Donnie Yen vs. Wu Jing

In a showdown that takes place in an alleyway, Donnie uses an extendable baton against Jing’s wildly brutal technique and huge knife. Donnie’s amazing speed and experienced sword hand is at home with the baton and Jing’s flowing but wild knife style is beautiful and dangerous. There are numerous uninterrupted cuts of fast and intricately staged sequences which is very reminiscent of the swordplay epics of Shaw Bros, although with a heck of a lot more ferocity and strength. With long cuts and a gruesome finale, this film instantly jumped into my list of the best fight scenes in movie history.
