TAS: The Prodigal Son (1981) Yuen Biao vs. Frankie Chan

After training under Sammo Hung and Lam Ching Ying, you’d think that Yuen Biao wouldn’t have much to worry about, not so as Frankie Chan makes an impressive final opponent in this film. Choreographed by Sammo Hung, this fight features some solid wing chun via Biao and some impressive kicking techniques by Chan. Intense and with tons of movements, the real physical ability of both actors is on display to great effect. With a bit of humor as well as cringeworthy falls, this fight scene can be seen as the prime example of old school kung fu films and the more modern hard hitting 80’s style.
