“A Hard Day” First Look and Synopses!

SYNOPSIS 1 –
During his mother’s funeral, special crimes detective Gun-su finds out that he and his team are being investigated for corruption. He rushes back to his office but crashes into a man on the way. In a moment of desperation, he dumps the body in the trunk. Upon return to the funeral, he apologizes to his mother and puts the accident corpse beside his mother’s body in the coffin. A few days later, Gun-su flips through a listing of open cases and finds his accident victim – Lee. His colleague is on the accident case and discovers the car’s type and color while sorting through CCTV footages. Making the matter worst, a witness steps forward – a detective named Park.
In order to retrieve the key that locks away his savings, Park threatens him to bring back the body. But upon retrieving the body, Gun-su finds gunshot wounds on it. In addition, he finds out that Park was a corrupt drug enforcement detective who was demoted to the traffic division. Park intercepts the accident case and kills the detective in charge. Gun-su decides to face Park head on and sends Lee’s body back with a concealed bomb. Somehow Park survives the explosion and the two men fight to the death.

SYNOPSIS 2 –
Special crimes detective Gun-su gets into an accident, killing a man instantly. In order to cover up his crime, he hides the body inside his mother’s coffin, with her inside. A few days later, Gun-su sees his accident victim, Lee, on the police database on an open case. His colleague is on the accident case and slowly over time he’s uncovering more details of the accident. Then a witness pops up- a traffic division cop named Park. Demoted from his drug enforcement division, Park is looking for Lee to retrieve a key to his safe that contains his dirty money. Park threatens him to bring back the body. But upon retrieving the body, Gun-su finds gunshot wounds on it. He decides to take the matter into his own hands and face Park head on. He plants a bomb on Lee’s body and sends it back to Park…
